Mothers Sewing Uniforms
Providing materials and covering operational costs for seamstresses in Kyiv sewing t-shirts for the Ukrainian Army. Many of these women are mothers with sons serving on the front lines.
FUNDRAISING GOAL REACHED: Thanks to your generous donations, we have reached our fundraising goal for this cause. Please note that any further donations made to this cause will be used to support other Global Synergy Group initiatives supporting Ukraine.
At the start of the war, a few brave women in the Kyiv region came together to start a small sewing project. Many of them had sons serving on the front lines who had been asking their mothers to help with various needs. With the help of project manager and business trainer, Nadya Kopaniyza, this group of skilled women was able to organize initial fundraising and create a process to sew and deliver t-shirts directly to troops defending Ukraine.
Summers are hot and Army uniforms are in short supply, so the group decided to focus their energy on making t-shirts, with other clothing items available on request.
Their efforts soon grew into a full-scale operation. Today, they are making t-shirts for the Ukrainian Army, supported by funds from Global Synergy Group. We need your help to continue purchasing fabric and paying for the minimal operational costs.
How You Can Help
Support this cause by donating to it! Each t-shirt costs $5 to make. Your donations go towards paying for materials and energy costs. Labor and delivery of the t-shirts to various frontline units is 100% volunteer-based.

“The garments these Ukrainian women are making for the soldiers give them a purpose to keep going each day, creating a necessary piece of clothing that is filled with strength and love for those fighting to save their country. I can only imagine the recipients of their handmade clothing feel cared for, loved, uplifted, and a little more comfortable.”
