Every year, Global Synergy Group brings teens from different regions of Ukraine to Minnesota to take part in the YouLEAD program.YouLEAD is an international program of development and involvement of youth leadership. The goal is to inspire the youths selected to be intercultural ambassadors of positive change in their respective countries.

In this final part of our YouLEAD 2023 introductions series, we’re delighted to introduce you to the 2023 students from Kyiv, Boryspil, and Ivankiv.

With YouLEAD 2023 less than two weeks away, we’d like to introduce you to our 2023 participants from the regions of Poltava and Dnipro in Ukraine.

Today, we’re introducing our 2023 YouLEAD participants from the Kharkiv region in Ukraine. In their own words, they’ll tell you a little bit about themselves, why they love Kharkiv, and what they’re most excited to experience with YouLEAD.

It takes a community to make the YouLEAD program a reality. From host families, to event organizers, translators, mentors, and local government leaders, this program would not be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers from around the world.

Kherson was liberated on November 11th, 2022. It was like a new birth for the residents who decided to stay in Kherson throughout the Russian occupation. However, we will continue to work closely with Global Synergy Group and are ready to accept donations to help the people of Kherson rebuild after occupation.

With all eighteen YouLEAD participants now back in Ukraine, we wanted to bring you their reflections from their time in the USA.

With constant air raids and fear of occupation, our local volunteers continue supporting those in need with what little they have.

We are happy to announce the launch of our new website pages, which allows anyone to donate or “adopt” the cause they care the most about.
